I took a vacation. A long vacation away from all the fighting around here. Reset button. Sometimes we all need it.
Well what a better time to come back...right before the draft. I'm sure there will be no fighting then.

What is there to fight about? I guess the only issue that is out there is whether or not this regime is a good one. lol
Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry going to Browns. Jets might be the worst roster in the NFL officially now.
We also have the most cap room than any team.

The media has been banging the drum about salary cap space for months. The Jets are #2 in space, so therefore it holds that the Jets will walk away FA winners. (Right?)
Having money doesn’t necessarily mean players will come here. Case in point, Kirk Cousins. He’s likely to go to Minnesota based on factors other than money. They’re closer to winning the SB than we are. And he’s from Michigan, right next door to Minnesota, and has been guaranteed a huge property tax break if he goes to the Vikings. It’s all stacked in Minnesota’s favor. 80% chance he goes to the Vikings.
If you are a FA looking for money and a chance to win, are you considering the Jets? The money part is settled, but not the winning part. We could just as easily be 11-5 as 3-13 in 2020. There are a lot of things that need to go right for this team. We all know it. We have a lot of holes.
Let’s hope a few good players are willing to take a big chance on Mike Maccagnan.
We have the money to spend. I just hope Mac doesn't over spend for some over the hill player or players. I am not counting Cousins because I also believe he will go to the Vikes. There is also the Draft where Mac possibly will reach for Ken O'Brien. Lets hope Mac stays true to rebuilding with youth.

As I said before, I don’t want any over 30 free agents. It goes completely against what this rebuild is supposed to be. Macc cleaned house, and now he’s gotta stay focused on talented youth.
I’m expecting a flurry of activity tomorrow. It’s going to be a wild FA period over the next few days.
Looks like you were correct. Last I knew, the Jets were 3rd, but Mo hadn't been released. Jimmy G and Sherman hadn't been sign and the Browns hadn't traded for a completely new roster.

so far this list is not totally unappealing would love a player like Tavon Austin gives versatility and play making ability while sewing up return specialist... if we could get Suh to man the middle of our d line at a reasonable cost might be an option... but Ja'Wuan James would be a steal if released by the Dolphins...
