Wilkerson got paid.
Now he can flip the switch whenever he wants to play up to his ability. In the meantime, he can show up for work whenever he wants. 8:00, 8:45...whatever works for ya man.
Parker would be a bit of a meh signing for me.
The Jets signing two veterans, one more seasoned and one younger, to one-year deals I think confirms they will be looking QB early in the draft. They are setting up a one-year bridge.
I think his MO is be good for the first year and then suck you into a big deal before he starts slacking.
I think they will draft a QB but maybe not until the second round. They really have no choice. They have to draft one.
That is an outstanding signing. Most of the defensive needs are getting checked off.

If the Jets somehow were able to pry OLB Demarcus Lawrence away from the Cowboys, and then sign C Jensen from Baltimore, FA would be done. It would be a grand slam home run.
Then we somehow move up for Darnold or Rosen in the draft...

Maccagnan is doing a fantastic job. He recovered nicely from the Cousins situation.

Bradford 1 year 20M.....that's insane.
Has he done anything to warrant his price tag? Is there a qb who has done less in the league and keeps getting paid? He’s awful and injury prone.
These guys are clearly bridge material, but Bridgewater is intriguing in that he might give us more IF healthy. Ideally we are able to select one of the top 4 QBs in the upcoming draft, Bridgewater beats out McKown as the starter and plays really well while the young QB gets a year to watch and learn. We then have the opportunity to get some value via trade while Bridge still under contract. Just a thought.
Bridgewater is on a one year deal. The trade would have to come this year before the trade deadline .
I don't think the Jets are happy with McGuire or they would not have brought Crowell in. I expect the Jets to take a RB in Rd 2,3, or 4. If so. McGuire would be odd man out.
