WTH is this kid? I don't think I like this pick. Looks like a REACH
Not according to most projections, which had him mid-first.
You can say it's an odd fit for the Jets, but you can't fairly say it's a reach.

Exactly right, he's a safety with 10 extra pounds. We already have a thumper at safety. This guy is not the edge rusher we need, and he gets blocked out of plays. The only way this makes sense is if we play base dime.safety he is perfect size smh

he was #13 on mcshay's final big board and #15 on kiper's. we picked him #20. how is that a reach?

A 230 pound LB playing in a 3-4?

Its not a reach, Lee was ranked #9 in Daniel Jeremiah's TOP 50 and #15 on Gil Brandt's TOP 100, the problem is, he's a one dimensional 4-3 OLB and we play a base 3-4, and even if we switch to a base 4-3 (which Bowles refused to do last year even though drafting Williams made it a no brainer), he still likes to switch fronts, that makes Lee a part time player.WTH is this kid? The thing that pisses me off, even if Bowles plays multiple fronts the way he likes too, that makes out first round pick a part time player. He is strictly a 4-3 OLB. There is no scheme versatility with this player. In the 3-4 he is useless.
