agreed. I don't get what the problem is with Mo. Hang in there for one year and then we can resign him next year with more $
Well, the Jets didn't take Lynch. Fortunately for him, the Broncos got him, and that team and Elway know very little about QBs.
At what cost, though? He wants above market value for his talent.
So raise your hand if you think we will be kicking ourselves for passing on a 6'7 athletic stud at QB for an undersized LB who can't hold up at the point of attack.

I think the Broncos and Elway know how to manage the QB position.
Lee seems to be everything the jets had hoped Demario Davis would develope into , and failed at miserably. Mac and staff were high on this kid from the start. I can't figure out why so many of you guys are down on him. Apparently Todd Bowles sees him as a fit.
No thats not what I meant, with LW is wasn't about the scheme, it was about having four blue chip DL's and wanting to get them all on the field at the same time as starters, thats why a switch to the 4-3 seemed like a no brainier when we drafted LW, but Bowles quickly shot the idea down in his post draft press conference. That makes me think he is wedded to a base 3-4, in which case this pick was absurd.
Agreed but maybe we'll have our franchise QB aswell. Still quite a few QBs out there and maybe there is some life for Petty just year. Maybe that's why they didn't draft Lynch.

TB is a 3-4 guy lets get that straight... BUT... Kacy Rodgers our Defensive Coordinator is a 4-3 guy and we integrated 4-3 sets last year and it was a success, so it makes sense that they infuse both Rodgers style with Bowles...
Who is left who can truly be a franchise QB in this draft? I would argue Cook, and that's it. Hackenberg is the only other guy worthy of anything above a fourth rounder, and I think that is a stretch based on his woeful performance the past few seasons at PSU.
Todd Bowles is the type of coach that does what he does best motivate talent... He lets his coaches coach and if that means letting Rodgers implement a 4-3 base with 3-4 packages moving forward they will need to acquire guys they feel can play both...
