The Jets deserved to be at 32 and this isn't a surprise to ANY OF US or it shouldn't have been anyway! It won't be getting any better until Zach returns IMHO. At least with Zach our offense will look competitive and competent. We still may not win as much but we'll be in ALOT MORE GAMES. I have ABSOLUTELY no confidence/faith in Flacco and our defense and running game can only do but so much. If my thinking is correct about Flacco, expect us to stay at 32 until Zach returns. FACTS is FACTS!!!

Well a lot of this has to do with the preseason ranking. We started at #30 and were moving down. There's really not many places to go. But I would put Arizona and Carolina below us.

Carolina, they damn near beat the Browns. Yes I know they still a loss and the Browns were playing without the starting quarterback, Watson but they were competitive nonetheless and will see the ass thrashing that the Jets take from the Browns this week. We all know it and the people that make the rankings know it also.
That’s why they are ranked ahead of us and it will most likely remain that way unless we get our shit together real fast. As for Arizona, Cardinals are a much better team then us and they have their starting quarterback Murray. So I don’t see why they should be right below either?
With the exception of maybe qb. We're better than both teams. Whether the coaching staff can put it together remains to be seen. But regarding overall talent, we're better than half the league. The biggest problem is Flacco. I would take our defense over either team and WRs over either team and our RBs over Arizona's

I doubt our defense is better than Cleveland's. Myles Garrett and that secondary is tough money they have. I hope you are right. I would have no problem losing in my FF league this week, if that means the Jets step and get the W.
Well a lot of this depends on coaching. If they're getting the team's potential and developing the talent then we'll take care of business.
I can't see us doing anything remotely close to 4-13 this season. That would mean that Saleh is worse than Gase and it just won't fit in my worldview.
@NewMFS62 If after this season Saleh has an 8-26 coaching record then how can you possibly think that he is so much better than Gase that it's not even debatable?

Saleh will get more than 4 wins. I predicted 7-9 wins at the beginning of the season and it's still possible. Zach just has to come back healthy, ready and REALLY REALLY SOON. Otherwise, it's not possible.

Gase was terrible. Gase made terrible decisions and the team never looked prepared. But Saleh teams have started off each season looking like they weren't well prepared, either.
But Gase set a very low bar in my opinion, so it doesn't take much to be better than him.
