White is a perfectly viable backup for Wilson, the problem is that we can't produce an offensive line which is as stout as those of the rest of the league. Perhaps they will solidify after a week of practice together in their current alignment. But we are thin in depth and we will be lucky if fourth round pick Mitchell immediately cements the right tackle position. No it's not a waste of a draft pick. Flacco needs to be replaced with a viable backup and Wilson is not out for the season. Trading for a suitable backup for Wilson is a better idea than tanking the season (which is a horrible effing idea).
