Normally, I would agree with you if the HC was someone experienced and well respected.
Gase hasn't proven to me that he should even be a HC......

Apparently Douglas insisted on a long contract as a condition of taking the GM job, as he knew it wasn't going to be a one-season fix. What the Johnsons should do is butt out and put Douglas, a football guy, in charge. Let him decide if Gase is compatible with his rebuilding plans. There is no hurry to get rid of Gase, it is going to be at least two seasons before we have a competitive roster.
