I am a little leery of Gregory..he put on weight because it was the combine , but he looks very thin and looks like big OT can swallow him up....he reminds me of AARON MAYBIN a little

...he got sick and lost 25 lbs. He wasnt skinny because he doesnt workout in the offseason like maybin or is natrually small like maybin, he was ill and lost 25lbs. Maybe it was a lie by his agent, but I believe him.

Respectfully disagree

Elite QBs rare as hens teeth in the draft and, mark my words, Mariota will be an Elite NFL QB as early as 2015 If available at 6, Jets need to break ankles rushing his card up to the commissioner at the podium in Chicagoland

Passing him up would be right up there with passing up Dan Marino in 1983, especially for a team saddled with the Geno Albatross around their neck as we speak

Did you hear Gruden on Mike and Mike this morning? He absolutely loves Mariotta as well. I'm back on the bandwagon.......

Dont you think Ray has similar red flags to gregory? I would think your order would be something more like Beasely, Dupree, and Ray.

I really like gregory, but I also really like Fowler, Dupree, and Beasely. I honestly just wnt whichever one Bowles and his staff want the most from that list. They're all so close in talent its hard for me to stand behind one of these OLBs in the draft when 4 of them will likely be studs, you know?

All these guy's Fowler, Dupree, Ray & Beasley were all DE's in College, not OLB's ! I'm sorry but because of a previous DE from Ohio State we picked to become a 3-4 OLB, lets go with the sure pick of Amari Cooper or Kevin White. Dump Harvin and lets go after OLB's & CB's in free agency. Where are the natural OLB's in College ?

He also really likes Bryce Petty, said best arm in draft, mature physically and tough-minded.

This is a tough question because my answer usually depends on where a player is drafted...as an example I want no part of Beckham at 6, I do like him at 42. Ray is becoming s guy I don't want unless we trade back first. I think he isn't a top 3 OLB any more with this stacked class. I don't want any TEs in the first 3 rounds.

Who has the 42nd pick ? We have the 37th pick in the 2nd round.

I respectfully disagree as well.

Jaws was just on Mike and Mike. Said Mariota might be the most humble and hard working guy in the draft. NY'ers will love him because of that. Also said that here is a 6'4 guy who runs a 4.5 forty and displayed great accuracy at the combine. He's smart so there's no reason to think he can't pick up a pro scheme. I think if we surround him with Spiller, Decker, Ivory, Powell, Amaro, and someone like Perriman, that is a good supporting cast. His wheels will erase a lot of our deficiencies in pass pro.

He's not perfect but I think those are tools you gamble on.

I think Mariota will be fine also but Jaws also thought Kellen Clemens was the best QB in the 06 draft..LOL

Interestingly Jaws also mentioned that he wouldn't take Winston with the #1 , some significant flaws in his game.

I just saw that play again vs Oregon where he lost his balance and then Geno'd the ball out of his hands where a defender grabbed it and ran in for six.

Looked very familiar

We can't judge his career by that one play. It's fair to say his college career was impressive. He struggled last year with turnovers but he was hurt. He lit it up at the combine.
