Preseason Week 3: Jets vs Giants Game Thread

It was refreshing to see the defense wake up last night after the first two pre-season games. That said, the G-men will likely have one of the worst offenses in the league this year. Just hoping David Harris is fine in two weeks. The Bengals are NOT the Giants!

I think Steve McClendon is this year's under the radar signing.

Bowles will need to move things around a bit to hide the #2 cornerback, whomever it is. Still think that will be exploited all season.

The Oline will be the achilles heel of the team. I don't expect them to run the ball effectively and Fitz won't have a lot of time to go downfield, even if he could throw it.

I think it's amusing how it took Hack only one drive to now be recognized as the future of the entire franchise.

RB Antone Smith is faster than I thought and even though he was with the 3's & 4's given the chance he could be a legit #3 RB alongside BP & Forte... Albeit the blocking last night was subpar compared to what he would have if he makes the team and becomes a rotational player with the presumed starting tandem...

If this D is as good as it looked last night, you can sign 75 yr old Mike Taliaferro to start and this team will have a chance.

Overall I was happy with performance, but Fitz looked meh. Not putting too much stock into it yet.
