There are multiple reports out there, just Google Khalil Mack, suggesting Gruden is fed-up with Mack's holdout and the Raiders don't have the cap space to pay him what he wants, so Gruden is listening to offers and is prepared to trade Mack, perhaps for a 1st RD Pick if he suspects the team will be selecting fairly high. We might have to throw in a player too, but if we can get Mack, thats the elite edge rusher we've been searching for since forever.
Of course that means we'll be shutout of the 1st and 2nd RD's in next years draft, because we dealt our 2 for Sam Darnold, but if our first round pick can be the catalyst for a trade to acquire a 27 year old Khalil Mack, thats a trade I have to make, and unlike the Raiders, we do have the cap space to afford and extend Mack's contract.
What do you guys think, are you willing to sit out the first two rounds of next years draft if we can acquire Khalil Mack?
