Reasons to be happy

This is the time of year when gms must have their poker face on, and no transactions happen. It's a little boring around the rumor mill.

So feel free to add to my list.

Reasons to be happy when looking forward to 2016:

Our owner isn't being investigated

Mac daddy year 2 will be exciting

Bowles has some young talent coming

We have a freaking qb in the top 10

Our core is returning,with some yet to be seen signings

Our rookies were viable

Amaro is returning

Devin smith year 2, make our break?

Marshall, decker, Fitz chemistry year 2

We can easily hit 30 mill in cap space

There's actually an adult in the room, and he has a plan.

Me too, if we have to baby him all year, and he still can't even play in the Game we need him for, he's a waste of a roster spot.

i'm very interested in what bowles may or may not have learned about every game on the schedule being equal.. because they simply are not.. divisional games prove that mathematically..

find the happy medium coach bowles.. if you do, i see you having a long successful run here..

I understand what he's trying to do there. No Super Bowls in October. Players can only run on emotional Adrenalin for so long.

But your 100% right. Some games are just more important then others. If we had lost to the Giants, and beat the Bills we might be playing this week end

as do i FL.. but as we have already agreed upon, things are simply not that cut & dry approaching games in the NFL.. it just isn't..

bowles comes across as a bright guy & he certainly has his share of great former NLF executives & head coaches singing his praises.. one of those guys is parcells & he's certainly not big on throwing around empty complements..

& while he had some experience as a interim head coach, this was still bowles' rookie season.. we'll see..

But your 100% right. Some games are just more important then others. If we had lost to the Giants, and beat the Bills we might be playing this week end

Right, but there's no guarantee we beat the bills, as we wound up losing, you can't take a Game for granted, you need every won you can get. I don't know if you can gamble by downplaying one game just to conserve the effectiveness of your speech next week.

I am referring to your comment about the schedule, and all games not being equal, and divisional games. Oakland is a non divisional afc opponent that cost us the tie breaker with Pittsburgh. Just pointing that out. That's why every game is important, you never know how something seemingly benign, can bite you in the ass.
As a side note, Fitz needs to learn to slide.

yep, i should have pointed out conference games as well..

the "all games are equal" philosophy is fine if your team is going to average 12+ wins a season..

as in, you're going to win enough games to make the playoffs/division winner/1st or 2nd seed regardless..

LOLz if we start winning 12+ games a season, i'll be just fine with whatever "philosophy" coach bowles has..
