I like Riley Cooper
Not that there's anything wrong with that
Decent #3 - prolly better than Kerley.

The problem is, there's a lot of guys like kerley and Riley, they are replaceable.

You don't know why? Well I do....... It's because he didn't trust Geno to make the right decisions on the football field. This, when Fitz and Geno were thought to be so close in playing ability. It's because Todd Bowles did NOT trust Geno after another sh*tty performance against the Raiders.
And the Jets will likely draft another QB after resigning Fitz and promoting Bryce Petty to be the backup. When that happens, Geno is right out the f*cking door where he belongs.
all but smith's most loyal apologists "don't know why" at this point.. smith is a bad NFL QB with no leadership skills to speak of & has a laundry list of things that point to him being an absolute dick..
baring miraculous changes of fortune both health wise & game play, milliner is getting ready to become one of the biggest busts in jets history.. but this guy will try & tell you that no conclusions can be drawn on bowles' opinion of either smith or milliner.. mind you, milliner didn't play one damn snap the last 8 weeks of the season with no injury issues.. at least bowles was reported as saying he was healthy during that stretch.. he was healthy enough to play on special teams because he he damn sure did..
but there simply must be some undisclosed explanation why bowles refused to let either one on the field last season a second longer than necessary.. to hear this guy tell it anyway.....
what do i need to prove?? your posts on smith & milliner speak for themselves.. & aren't you an idzik supporter as well??Actually, Bowles mentioned Milliner as one of the leading candidates to replace Cromartie. I'm certain you missed that comment yesterday, seeing as it deviates far away from your mission to prove me wrong.
Don't be so coy referring to "that guy" and "loyal apologist". You can refer to me by name. You can even reference the "irony of my avatar" if you want, as long as it doesn't become dangerously close to another personal attack.
I would say geno looked like a kid in swimmies trying not to drown in Oakland.Smith played very well at times during the OAK game.... He has shown flashes of being as good as Fitz was this year in his 3 years here.... Problem is he made bad decisions at the worst times in that OAK game which has been his knock over the 3 years here... No consistency.... If he can ever flip that switch his talent says he can have a very productive career... I don't see it here as a Jet....
Milliner I think just needs to stay healthy... He does that and he will be at worst an above average CB in the NFL..... But staying healthy is a big IF!!!!
you left out the part about how long he takes to get the ball out..Smith simply makes too many negative plays to outweigh any physical advantages he has over Fitz. It's that simple.
His dreadful decisions with the ball aren't just limited to his INTs. His sacks are just as bad.
you left out the part about how long he takes to get the ball out..
simply put, the NFL game moves too fast for smith to process..
what is, is.....
i know you're fairly optimistic we can get a bag of rocks for "what's his face" but i just don't see it happening..Of all the bad crap that smith does that is probably the worst, and leads to the other mistakes that killed the Jets.
5.3 Seconds, Brady 2.1 sec. Fitz. 2.7 seconds. Really doubt there are many OL on the Jets that want to see him back.
