So who's the MVP?

Nick Mangold

Brandon Marshall

Ryan Fitzpatrick

Darelle Revis

Mo Wilkerson

IK Enempkapali

Elias

The Invisible Man
Big Fish

IK and Fitz are tied in my opinion.

Fitz has come in and finally gave us a QB that I am not afraid to see throw the ball. He makes smart decisions. All you can ask for.

If there's ever a way to turn a negative into a positive, then IK misfortune turned into the Jets fortune. But I'll take it a step farther. Woody Johnson is this season's MVP. He cleaned house, got a GM and a HC that changed the culture that once was a circus. We're taking care of business quietly, and things have fallen in place. Regardless to how this year finishes, we have built a sound foundation that everyone league wise can respect. Thank you Woody Johnson.

Excellent point. Many people are quick to attack Woody but all he wants to do is win the big one. Keep building on this foundation and maybe we can improve. A mix of veterans and youth. I'm excited for the future. Great hires

hiring casserly & wolf as consultants was the smartest move woody has made as the owner of the jets..

My first instinct is obviously Fitz, but would he have had the season he's having without Marshall/Decker? It's not like his numbers are other-worldly, he's simply better than most of us thought he would be.

I'll go with a dark horse -- Bilal Powell. I know it's a reach, but I really feel he gives this team a dimension we weren't expecting (and didn't have up until a few weeks ago). If we make/go anywhere in the post-season, I think it's his contribution that puts us over the top . . .

Yeah, I gotta go Fitz on this year's MVP. Marshall or Wilk for 2/3, Harris 4, Enemkpali 5.

post should have ended there.. :)

I get what you're saying, but seriously -- is he our MVP based on his body of work, or on his improvement over the EXTREMELY low bar we've grown accustomed to?

Here's some rankings I was able to find:

Passer rating -- 20th
Yardage -- 13th
TDs -- 10th
Completion % -- 20th

I'm not bashing the guy -- we'd DEFINITELY not be in the position we find ourselves without the season he's having. But don't you think an "MVP" season would have led to better production? I guess 1/2 the QBs in the league would have been our MVP?

I'm thankful for what the guy has brought to the table, but also looking forward to the day when these numbers are EXPECTED, not lauded . . .

Ah, the fantasy football age. Stats are a useful tool, but in QB's particularly the eye test is much more reliable. This is a team that is designed to run the football, when things have gotten tough in the running game Fitz has been money in the clutch.

Parcells mantra was, "the only QB stat I care about is W's" He also said "Don't tell me how many yards a RB has, tell me when he gets them."

No, Fitz isn't setting Fantasy leagues on fire, but he is about to Challenge most of the NY Jets passing records. Has a very good chance to get a team to the play offs that almost none of the experts gave them a chance to do. Willing to bet when the team votes for team MVP it will be Fitz hands down.

It's clear he is their leader, and they love him

This #Jets season really has been something... And Fitz & Co. still have another week to go.

He did cite one specific stat he cares about with QB's ... how often they get their team in the end-zone.

Thats the only one he cared about, are you getting us touchdowns, and right now Fitz is tied with Vinny (98) for the most TD Passes in a single season (29) in franchise history. One more in Buffalo and he owns the franchise record.

Pretty special, huh?
