All I'm hearing from ppl is get to OTA's etc. like I jus wasn't at practice yesterday putting in wrk tho..

I have a life outside of football n I chose to enjoy my family a little longer so to u fans that know everything please worry bout yourself
Honestly, I don't take it personal if he talks down to the fans. I'm the type of guy who laughs when a player gives fans the finger. I feel like, if the fans can dish it out, you shouldn't be thin skinned when its time to take it.Im a lakers fan too...and this sounds so much like shaq when he was feuding with Kobe. Shaq always showed up at training camp almost 400lbs. His excuse was always he's paid to play during the season, not the offseason.
Well, Richardson doesn't care about his job until he has to be there. This is a Suh and Detroit situation waiting to happen...

That said, his comments come off as arrogant and that concerns me only from a Jets fan POV, because he's one of our best players and we need that to continue if we wish to be successful, and this makes me nervous because the game is a humbling game, it will humble you if you get too big for your britches, and often times pride cometh before the fall.
That said, if he maintains his level of play when the real bullets start flying, then I couldn't care less if he tells the fans to go jump in a lake. So long as he's playing well and we're winning games, I'm cool.

Agreed, its pretty clear that his ego is a bit out of control and I've been noticing it headed in that direction for quite some time. At first his confidence came off as humorous and good natured, like vintage Muhammad Ali (i.e. a lovable braggart), but lately its been sounding more like arrogance too me, so I'm not totally surprised by these tweets. That said, no need to fawn all over him and make it worse, but I don't think we'll need to worry about that, a few more tweets like this one and he'll discover the ugly side of NY fans, who heretofore have been nothing but adoring towards him.Let's hope the team promotes Revis as our best player and not hype this kid up to make his head bigger.
Oh I agree, SEE MY PRIOR POST, I was just saying I don't take it personal because I don't get attached to players in that way, that hero worship stuff ended a long time ago for me, I'm more like Jerry Seinfeld now, I root for the laundryYou're looking at the trees and not the forest.
As a rookie he called himself not the next Sapp, he will be better than sapp.
Last year he said he's better than Watt and Wilkerson.
Now he's telling the fans he doesn't have to practice and to go f yourself.
This is continued behavior not an isolated incident.
Trade him to the Bills for 2 1s and be done with it already.
Simple solution.
Fans shut up. Stop trolling the guy for not showing up to voluntary activities.
Richardson show up and shut up. And enough with the "Godforshort" stuff.
are any of your solutions realistically going to happen?
