Don't know how this deal can be mocked. A second alone would have been a pretty good haul, considering how much Richardson devalued himself. Getting a second and an upgrade at a position of weakness is a very good haul.

Agreed, I can't believe we got a 2nd RD Pick for a guy who is one failed drug test away from being suspended for an entire season, much less a pretty good return man thrown in on the deal.
Don't get me wrong, SR is a TOP 10 talent and thats what the Hawks are gambling on here, and if he keeps his nose clean and performs up to his potential (didn't last year) then they will have gotten the best of the deal, but that is a big gamble. As Teddy Atlas often says, people who are born square don't die round.
