I doubt they trade up for Cook.

I do think they look to trade Sheldon, franchise Mo, sign Harrison if at all possible.

Connor Cook won't be drafted in the top 10. I'd be surprised if he goes Rd 1.
Too many red flags about his personality type.

Once Bama beats him like a rented mule in a week or so, we will see how hot his stock is.

No thanks on Cook. Much rather role the dice on Petty.

Not crazy about any of the QB's early in the draft. Think petty has as high of an up side as any of them.

Maybe a mid round, developmental type. Don't want anyone in the first or second.

I think there are a couple of interesting guts out there as developmental projects. The kid Ely out of Toldeo via Alabama has been impressive this year. But he's only had one year starting due to injury and transfer rules. He just was turned down for a 6th year of eligibility.

UDFA type but I was impressed by him in the three or four "MACtion" games I saw him in this year.

I wanted to see more of this Wentz kid out of North Dakota but he got hurt. FCS is hard to catch on TV though.

Lynch and Goff seem to be 1st rounders. Probably Hackenberg too (despite his numbers).

As long as we dont waste a draft pick on the guaranteed future BUST from Penn State we'll be OK

I think Hack might actually be a bargain if his stock continues to drop. I would still love to see what he can do with a OL that gives him more than 2 seconds to throw. I think he is shell shocked.

Have to disagree

Watched him a number of times and wouldnt want the Jets to draft him in any round

Just Quoting myself for truth. There is no way he goes first Rd after that performance.

just a thought but maybe bowles will try and convert richardson to olb? I don't have his combine numbers to see if that is possible but I know he is bigger than coples was and in a 3-4 they like bigger LB's than than the faster 4-3 ones?

I don't think we have the speed even with mauldin and reilly to play alot of 4-3 if richardson can switch to olb though mauldin and reilly can be used to rush the passer and richardson will be part of shutting down the run but I would cringe if he needs to cover a TE.

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS Scouts like the light feet Richardson shows for his size, as he is able to twist inside and chase plays to the sideline with great speed. That agility, combined with his length, makes him a strong tackler in close quarters. Richardson’s first step off the snap, especially when lined up over the ball, is quite impressive; he gets into the backfield in a heartbeat, beating reach-blocks and will work his way through double-teams if he sees the ball in the quarterback’s hands. He plays with leverage at the point of attack at times despite his height, holding his ground and wrestling with attitude. Has enough athleticism that Missouri uses him as a standup rusher and to drop into short zone coverages over the middle of the field, where shows the ability to cover crossing receivers and tight ends in a short area
