The Cheats beat the 10 wins Jets while THEY were HEALTHY & the Jets were still finding their offense.
The Jets beat a severely offensively depleted 12 wins NE team, AFTER the Jets had found their FitzMagic.
Timing matters, immensely, which is why any system that relies only on combined wins and losses cannot hope to accurately reflect the Strength of a Schedule as it was played AT THE TIMES it was played.
Important point. Beating someone in September isn't the same as beating them in December. Injuries are huge. And so is a team's ability to hit it's stride mid season. The Jets are a great example. This offense was garbage in the middle of the year. They've been a completely different team since Fitz/Gailey has found it's rhythm.
