Thanks for the elucidation on "all world". Free was the first person I ever heard use that term.

I definitely remember Sellers. One of the great "bigger guards" in that era.

And I was a HUGE fan of "The Hawk" with his one hand swoop shot. Hawk was doing it before Dr. J. Just a massive wing span. Had to be near impossible to block.

Connie Hawkins was the original skywalker, followed by Elgin Baylor, Dr. J, and MJ.
Actually Elgin was a pro before Connie graduated high school
(Boys High,1960).

He wasn’t great in Buffalo last year, but he is serviceable. Hell…. Even Van Roten looked decent for the Raiders last night…. And he was terrible with us

When Connie and Roger were seniors, Boys played Wingate where a million people swore they went to that game. Was the game of games. Boys had a stronger team, but Roger scored 39 and Connie fouled out with 19 points, Boys won.
Total bullshit when they banned Connie and Roger for "dumping" games in their respective colleges. Connie at Iowa and Roger at Dayton. They were freshman. In those days freshmen were not allowed to be on the varsity. The N.B.A. banned them. How did they dump games?? They went to the A.B.A. Connie eventually sued the N.B.A. and won.

Never understood that either. Hawkins got hosed. Only positive is that he wound up in the ABA, which allowed him more leeway to showcase his incredible skills.

@LRJets All this talk about Hawkins had me reading a bit on him online. Actually forgot that I had read this book back in high school.
