I'm really hoping that a number of these UDFA's can step up. Mac clearly did not do enough to help this team going into this season. Given how hard their schedule is, they won't win more than 6 games. That's all Mac's fault. Really, what we're finding out between Todd Bowles retsrdedness in the Buffalo game and Mac's incompetence when it comes to building up the roster that this front office is no different than any number of faled fron toffices from the past. They are all fakes.
Or maybe you are wrong. I don't think any of us know what to expect. We got better at RB and possibly better on the OL. Our LB's have way more speed and youth. We have to see what happens. Or maybe I'm wrong.

And if I am wrong? I will be the first to admit it. Count on it. But I'll guarantee you this team is not going anywhere this season, not given the opponents they'll be facing.
You claim we got better at RB with Forte and I disagree, We may have acquired a slightly more versatile player, but we will be losing out on Ivory's tackle breaking abilities and the OL is going downhill this season. OL should have been Mac's 1st or 2nd round pick. We did not, given the strength of our schedule, have the luzury to select experimental, developmental QB's. And we ever did at LB was add a speedy that MAY be able to cover the wheel route. He lacks the size and will get swallowed up by much larger men. The bottom line is there were MUCH better ways to utilize the 1st and 2nd rounds picks. Instead, Mac was an idiot that completely failed the team. This team is going nowhere and I stand by those words until you or someone else can tell me there season isn't turning out exactly the way I am saying...

But we will gain a RB that can stay healthy. If Fitz is QB and 6 wins is all he can muster up then I hope we sign him for one year.

Or I should say we get a RB with a running style that should keep him healthier plus Ivory is damn near useless as a receiver.

Well, IMO that's all they are going to sign him for. This contract dispute has gone on long enough. Fitz is not going to get the kind of money he wants, so he is going to bet on himself and it makes total sense It's the confident male football player stance and quite frankly I neverending surespect for it. He singns a one year deal, and if he plays well? He gets FA next year and he'll be able to clean up.

You may be right from that angle as well but it's the blocking that's going to kill this team in every aspect of offense. It all starts up front.

Treadwell in the 1st and Spriggs in the 2nd. Spriggs in the 2nd would've either taken trading up in the 2nd or trading down in the 1st, either way it was attainable especially when you consider Mac could have traded Mo also.
