douglas is already the best GM in franchise history..

that on its own is no great shakes.. i do get that.. but man, douglas has been everything & more as far as his rep in philly & baltimore.. the man's a ****ing sergeon..

I think the jury is still out. I'm not impressed with Douglas. He's got a C for fixing the O line. Becton yes all world but the rest of it not good at all. Both this year and last. He signed a special teams gunner that plays no other position. Happy about Saleh hiring but Douglas needs to step up his game in this draft. Its ok to accumulate draft picks but you have to start replacing that talent.

At least I am not alone on the Sam Darnold debate vs Trevor Lawrence​

Darnold will become a star in Carolina. Ruhle and Brady will coach him up. He's reunited with Robbie Anderson. The guy Douglas just let walk. The Jets will regret letting him go and ever hiring Adam Gase.

I know Ozzie Newsome is a legend as a player and as a GM. But Douglas is not even in Newsome stratosphere. That is what we were expecting Douglas to follow that Ravens/Eagle personnel tree. The rumors in New York are Douglas was offered a first round pick for Darnold and turned it down. He should have taken it but we don't know if they were fighting over keeping Darnold or the Niners just got tired of waiting around.

his play in every aspect. I know Fields had a great W-L record at OSU. What I cannot believe is that the 49ers gave up so much to move to three for Mac Jones. He might be around for the Patriots pick.
If J.D. picks Fields, (while there is a segment who want him), J.D. would have to get out of Dodge.
