The other position that could be addressed with a worthy player in that high a pick would be CB. Okudah from OSU would be a very good fit as a CB1, with Bless Austin developing at CB2 and Poole as your nickel.
Say the Jets end up at #7. The prospect of them walking away with a OT (Thomas, Jackson), a CB (Okudah), or an edge (Young) has to be quite enticing. Now, those are four elite, top draft players. all of whom fit positions of need. Add to that potentially three top-10 QB prospects who could all go before the Jets pick, and they could be positioned very, very well to land an elite talent to fill one of their biggest needs.
And they would still have three more picks in the first three rounds. Joe Douglas could do a lot in this draft.
