Not sure who has the best secondary in the NFL but it's between the Jets & GB, fer sher.
The LoB is dead, long live the new kings.

The second half has been great and has calmed me down a bit.

My point is that you are moving the ball, why run plays that that are contrary to the strengths of your system???

Because it presents the opponent with yet another wrinkle that they weren't expecting. You're right here. They didn't deviate from their plan. They secured the ball and they are now kicking the crap out of the Redskins. But utilizing yet more avenues for offense is never a bad thing.

This shows what we're capable of once we come out with intensity. Have to start games this way.

You're making a very good point. Not only for this season, really for the last 7 seasons. The Jets have always been notoriously slow starters on offense. This season is no different. They need to start to attack and start faster if they want to compete for it all.

Ok... But why would that be your choice? There are wrinkles they can implement that don't force you to go to inferior players on our roster. There is no investment in these players because the whole system is designed not to feature those players. A spread system isn't effective putting those guys on the field.

It's like the Packers being down, and deciding to suddenly go to a power running system. Or a WC Offense suddenly deciding to go vertical.

It's funny you should mention Green Bay. Green Bay can utilize almost any style of offense and be successful with it. Green Bay, coincidentally, is a SB contender. You see any relationship? The teams that are most versatile can change according to what the defense is doing and still be successful.

The CS really did a magnificent job cleaning up the penalties from last week.

JETS no doubt.
You clearly are not familiar with the talent in GB's secondary.
Check them out. You'll come away impressed.
THE SHIELD, similar in style to MEvis.
Both rookies, Randall & Rollins, are ball hawking close cover guys who can stick with anyone.
Hyde has become an impressive SAF subbing for Burnett & while Ha Ha hasn't been quite the FS HYATT™ wanted, has still been sharp as tacks for the most part (still has some tackling issues to clean up).
Casey Hayward is finally back playing near 100% after an injury off-year, similar to what Cro went through.
Gunter may be the cherry of the crop of UDFAs though. MAN can that kid hurt people.
Big, strong, fast, young, (cheap LOL), and talented beyond belief across the board.

The only real difference is that the Jets secondary has name recognition, being older guys than GB's - AND, all 6 are all playing for a cap number smaller than MEvis' salary alone.
THE SHIELD is the only one making any bank at all.
