No, but I'm not ready to say Bowles sucks when the players have to make plays. I have never played a sport where the coach actually plays so I'm going to assume the players are to blame.

i didn't say bowles "sucks" as a head coach anymore then i'm ready to say we've found our long term answer..

players, play & coaches, coach.. that's a given.. what else is a given is a coach is held accountable for the way his team plays..

Huh, you can't seriously mean that? Rex is a joke and not a HC. He is a excellent motivator and even better shit talking but not a HC. Now does he have BOWLES AND THE JETS number, maybe so and last year doesn't help the cause. Tonight's game will or both games really will be the deciding factor on that question. Does he have FITZ NUMBER, obviously yes (8-1) and that is the problem that needs to be fixed. Both games the Jets loss last year to the Bills, the defense didn't necessarily come through but they kept it close at least. Fitz and the offense, especially Fitz sucked ass and gave the games away. Now with the kind of defense the Jets have, they should have dominated the Bills both games last year. As they should tonight but Fitz is the 12-13 year, six team veteran, that should be able to make plays on the field and he couldn't. That's not on Bowles, that on Fitz and the offense.

Now if you want to talk about time management, schemes and preparing the team then I get your point about Bowles falling a little short. However; it wasn't like the Jets got blown out either game. They hung tuff but flopped in the end. Fitz makes a throw or two and the games possibly go the other way. The WRs, RBs and TEs make a catch or two and the games go the other way. Same with the RBs running the rock, oline blocking, special teams and overall defense plying better. Let's talk about Bowles being a waste and Rex being better then him when the Jets start getting blown out, especially by the Bills. Until then, Rex isn't a better HC by no means. Rex destroyed a Bills team last year that was on the rise the year before. Plus he's on the hot seat already. While Bowles took a Jets team under Rex the year before that won 4 games to a 10 win team. If you don't like Bowles then that's one thing but to say Rex is a better HC then him is just down right LOW AND DIRTY, LOL!!!!!

bowles is the head coach guys.. a defensive head coach at that.. head coaches are always ultimately held accountable for their teams shortcomings.. i didn't make up the rules, what is, is.....

green & dalton putting up video game numbers is as much a reason we lost as anything you guys listed..

what we do seem to agree on is 0-2 is unacceptable..

well i do.. probably my biggest is his team coming out of the tunnel flat 5 times last season..

if that happens tonight, IMO, we've got a serious problem on our hands..

He's a BETTER HC at least right now and you'd better get used to hearing that. Todd Bowles is a very suspect HC right now..........

Very true but the problem with that is it shouldn't of had to come to that. Last game of the season with the playoffs on the line and you lose. If I'm correct, they would of also had a home wild card game and they lose. Not only did they lose but they didn't win convincingly. That was and is a problem and Bowles and the crew has to correct that. A good way to start would be to get rid of Fitzpatrick.

He didn't take questions very well after the game; it is very obvious he and the team want this game big time. Therefore Jets win big.

IMO Tyrod Taylor was the impetus for drafting Darron Lee. He exposed our lack of speed at linebacker last year. We had nobody at the second level who could contain him when he got out of the pocket and ran. Thats partly why we drafted a small, but speedy backer who ran in the 4.4's, to cover TE's and spy mobile QB's like Taylor.

So NOW, TONIGHT, is when Lee better start paying dividends.
