As usual, Mehta was making a mountain out of a molehill:

Speaking Monday, Sammy Watkins said he got his foot "checked out," and that it's "fine."

Watkins admitted his foot was "tired" at the end of Sunday's loss, but it was apparently nothing more than normal soreness. Watkins' foot could remain "tired" on the short week for Thursday Night Football, but it's become clear he's going to be active. He's guaranteed he will suit up. Watkins is seemingly never at 100 percent, but offers blow-up potential every time he takes the field.

Hate me if you want and call me what ever you want but I'm calling it. Jets lose 17-13 and Rex wins again. With or without Sammy Watkins and that's only because he's hurt. If he was healthy, they would probably beat us alittle worse but I'll give our team alittle bit more credit then that.

Love media reports that jump to conclusions prematurely. These sports journalists need to check their sources before reporting this BS.

Regardless, the latest report from Jason Cole says his sources are telling him that Revis is out of shape, and didn't fully commit to the off season conditioning program after surgery. This report better be BS, too. We're paying this dude mega bucks. He better have a much better game in three days.

He didn't look in very good shape yesterday.

i rewatched the Baltimore / Bills game.

No way is Buffalo superior to us. We all know damn right had we eliminated those bone headed mistakes (which are highly correctable), we would have beaten the Bengals.

Buffalo on the other hand are absolutely undisciplined to say the least. Out of both teams, The Jets are the team that is mostly pissed off to rectify on what occurred last Sunday afternoon. Plus, I want to see how the team responds to how coach Bowles ripped into them after the loss vs Cincy. Just my honest opinion, The Jets are just a salivating to bounce back and give the proper revenge to a team that swept them and knocked them out of any playoff contention last season.

As in my post yesterday I think the Jets will win. If we don't just like they say on WFAN. A good team with a bad start can lead to a bad season.

Not sure I have a good feeling on this game. We are away in Buffalo and haven't played well there the last 4 years. Buffalo like us is a desperate team and their defense played well last week. Haven't seen this offense really come through against a good defense. Perhaps we could start this week.

For us to win the defense needs to be the catalyst. Would also really like to see us shut someone down when it matters. They have a bad habit of giving up points on last drives before the half and final quarter. No different last week. We gave up 381 yards to a road team that had one legit receiver and no TE. That can't happen. Revis may need to move to safety sooner than later.

Jets 16 - Bills 13 but I wouldn't bet the house on it.

We can't come out and shoot ourselves in the foot. Need to grab an early lead, and eliminate mistakes!!!

If they don't win and avenge those two losses then season is probably close to being over. They better destroy the Bills. I will completely lose faith in the organization if they don't.

Too early to call off a season two weeks into it if we go 0-2 (which i dont believe that will be the case)

2002- We started the season at 2-5 and won the division. No need to panic. This team is actually really good.

After Buffalo, we've got Chiefs, Seahawks, Steelers, and Cardinals. And only the Seahawks are a home game.

I'm gonna say Thursday night is a must win. We'll be lucky to split the next four after that.

Me too, thats why losing that Cinci game was so painful, it puts you in a position where you have to beat a team that has had your number, in their building, on a short week, or your season can essentially be over before you reach the quarter poll. If we had won that Bengals game, and we should have, then we would have some margin for error this week. Not much considering the games to follow, but some. Now we have NONE in my view.
