Ravens have had a really good football team for a long time yet have 2 SBs and none since 2013 while still being really good

Sure I am, we're a 'real' NFL team now. Unlike college football where you know Alabama are going to put 50 points on some bunch of crash dummies the NFL is intended to swing on one big decision or one big play. If the Jets had kicked off in OT as they should have done and had driven the short field for a FG, everyone on here would be saying it was the best Jets team they had ever seen. If they win one of the next two games we will all be happy with the 2-2 start.

My reading on the team is that it is early in the season. At least we are competitive with a team which reached the playoffs six out of the last seven seasons. I didn't see any INT chances that were dropped. I'm trying not to be one of those fans who is applying for SB tickets after one win and suicidal after one loss. Get back to me if we are 1-6.

The Jets want to set a record so big that nobody can come close to beating it.
No fan should count on any game as a win. I didn't think the Jets would beat GB. I didn't think they would win after it went to OT. I did think the Jets would blow a 10 point lead and they did like they always have. The Jets are creating more opportunities for turnovers, but you can't cause 5 fumbles and only get one. So far the season is exactly what I thought it would be. It's a mediocre team that will be just good enough to screw up draft position.
OL had a less than stellar day, for sure.
Overall, though, I will say that I am not that upset with the outcome. An OT loss against a playoff team from last year is an almost perfect result for a team that is one draft away from truly competing. The Jets aren't going anywhere this year, but if they can be competitive AND the Jets have three good first-round picks, it sets things up for the long term.
