Based on the first two weeks, here's what I'm thinking/wondering:
Does KC have an aerial attack that will exploit our secondary? I don't think of Alex Smith that way, but we've certainly given them reason to try. Do we need to "clean up" the breakdowns, or actually change the scheme to adjust for Revis Island sinking into the ocean?
I don't know if Charles will be back (or at what strength) but I don't see why any RB would bring something we couldn't handle.
Defensively they're strong, but we've held our own against two solid ones already so I don't see us getting "shut down" (did I just say that about a Jets offense?!?!?) And when we do stall on drives it definitely looks like we've found ourselves a punter who can flip the field, something we haven't been able to say for a LONG time.
I know Arrowhead is a tough place to play (though we've had some success there), so I don't expect a flawless game. However, maybe our first two games will help there, as we've already seen we can have multiple screw ups and still stick with/beat teams. (At least we've displayed a mindset that we don't get shell-shocked, which is half the battle). I can't be the only one who envisioned the worst when Buffalo came out and scored 14 quick points out of halftime. But we went right back to practically dominating the game -- I DEFINITELY didn't expect that!
I think it's safe to say we'd be undefeated if we didn't beat ourselves, and the same should be true next Sunday. If we win the turnover battle and don't give up too many big plays, I don't see how we don't come home with the W . . .
