I don't know squat about the Chiefs but it's a tough place to play. Hopefully, we plant Alex Smith KC turf often.
For me it was watching Marshall go down and scream in pain. I yelled fuck. My 3 year old upstairs, woke up and said daddy,we don't say fuck. I thought we were going so well and our season was done. When Jalin fumbled that ball away for the TD, and Buffalo went ahead, i thought we were dead. Yes, there was still plenty of time left, but the Jets usually fold when things like that happen. I had to pause the game and take a break right there. When I came back, the game completely turned the other way.
Couldn't believe it. But it was really nice to see that they fought back. Great sign.
I'm the same,I hate the Sunday after a Thursday game. When I'm not excited about a Jets game,it just becomes so dull watching everyone else's teams play.Ya know, I was thinking that same thing. A totally relaxed feeling. Its like we can watch the other games this week stress free. Sort of like plunking into the pool after mowing the lawn on a 95 degree day.
But had the Jets lost it would have been the exact opposite. I'd have been chewing the bitter pill the whole 10 days and unable to enjoy any of the other games this week.
Think I'll root for the Phinnys Sunday but if they lose... meh. Pittsburg & Cincy looks good, about as heated a division rival as you can get, and after that playoff game - could get interesting
Yep, both of their starting Guards are out this week.Take a look at kcs page on espn, they're down 2 linemen and signing practice squad guys.

Not having a te limits how many open wrs we have and gives opposing defenses one less guy to cover.

It does actually, when you block and release and catch a first down over the middle you need a coverage guy. When you're a blocking te you don't require attentionWith the emergence of Enunwa this is less of an issue. 3 legit pass catchers running routes, doesn't matter if one of them has the TE designation or not.
I think it depends on their two starting OG's who missed todays game, one with a concussion and the other with a high ankle sprain. If one or both are back next week, the line will probably stay the same, might even go up a little bit because KC is one of the tougher places to play, they have one of the best home field advantages in the sport. But if both of those OG's are still down next week, I expect the line to go down as well. They couldn't handle Houston's front seven, so there's no way they are handling the Jets D-line with both starting OG's down.Early line has KC -3 1/2 over Jets
My feeling is it comes down to KC - 2
I am betting on a Defensive led charge, and that charge is going to be led by The Return of Revis Island.
He got caught with his pants down on few plays so far, but there is no lost step. Just sloppy. I have a feeling he's going to be special this game, and that ignites the rest of his defensive brethren like only he can.
I am usually a QB homer, and pay attention the ebbs and flows from that position, but this week, I just have a feeling he's "got some 'spainin to do", and he's looking forward to putting the team on his back.
Yea I have watched the AJ Green Play and the Goodwin play several times each.. And it is sloppy play.... Mental mistakes. Revis will clean that up ... He hasn't lost a lot in speed and athleticism.. But enough to not be Revis Island... But he is still a top 5 CB.... Clean that mental shit up
I have to agree that he has lost his make up speed, that's why he needs to be in position.Yup...just what I saw. just sloppy. he's going to be sick this week.
A 4:25pm game.
Jets will be fully rested vs a team that is as good as advertised. Andy Reid will have his boys ready just as Coach Bowles will have ours up to the task.
I feel Todd will have to start scheming more to get to Alex Smith. If you give him time, he will tear you apart. Though, i have full trust that the Jets will bring down the Hammer to go up 2-1 this season. Then its onto Seattle.
Lets enjoy the Buffalo game and get as healthy as possible. Gonna be bloody the next 4 weeks..........Especially for our opponents. :global (30):
