Week 8 Game Thread: New York Jets @ Cleveland Browns

im doing something Mo. I'm no longer renewing my season tickets. Looks like I'm quitting but I am very sick and tired of it.
If the Browns open up a big, or should I say, even bigger lead, DO NOT put Petty in this game.
I don't want his first NFL experience to be on the road with the other team in a comfortable position to just pin their ears back and rush the QB, its a recipe for disaster, its practically begging to put the kid back in traction for the remainder of the season.
NO, let Fitz finish this debacle, a loss to a winless team, then let Petty get a fresh start next week.

This is pathetic. Just an awful performance from this team. We're getting smoked by the worst team in the NFL. Guess that makes us the new worst team in the NFL.

There is no such thing as a fresh start for the Jets. I've lost complete faith in this organization. I'm teetering on being done with the team.

i would be stunned if bowles puts in petty today or next week.....
I wonder what Todd Bowles is gonna do at halftime. Is he going to light them up, like he should? Or is he gonna continue his soft spoken "let's go get'em" speech, which is exactly the wrong approach?

Exactly, from looking at the performance - poor line blocking, dropped passes, terrible coverage playing 10 yards off (and Pryor should be benched he is terrible), I truly believe this coach has lost the team. They have no sense of urgency and to keep a QB in there that has 30 yards passing is beyond belief... if I wasn't awake I would thought I was dreaming and watching a kotite coach team.

For me the most crushing part of this season, and this really is the crushing part, way more than a sucky QB on a one year deal who won't even be here next year, is the extent to which Bowles is being exposed as a piss-poor head coach.
Honestly, I saw this coming with Fitz, I think most of us suspected that last year was FOOLS GOLD for this career journeyman, so its hard to say we are shocked by this, HE IS WHAT HE IS, but last year we won 10 Games and I really thought we found a coach.
Now I'm really starting to wonder if that last game in Buffalo last year, when we had a chance to clinch a playoff berth and the Bills were playing for nothing but pride, and it looked like the opposite, they looked like they wanted that game way more than we did, which was inexplicable, but now I'm really starting to wonder if that was not only exposing Fitz for what he really is, but also exposing Bowles for what he really is too?
We have a couple of young QB's who offer some hope for the future, and we can draft another one, but if we whiffed on the HC hire, AGAIN!!, this really sets the franchise back, big-time, because I don't see us firing Bowles after year two, we're stuck with this guy for at least another year.
