What does your dream draft look like

All I know is unless Fashanu is there at 10 I prefer to trade down to about 16 . Furthermore I'm in favor of trading away the 2025 1st and a 3rd in a package for whoever has the 31st or 32nd pick . I’m all in on revamping this OL and adding a receiver.

This team was such a mess when JD took over. Now going into year 6 this team has a few studs, but it's in just as big of a mess albeit a slightly different mess especially in 2025.

Pretty good chance we're going to be in need of a GM and HC in 2025, and no #1 pick to start turning things round will not be a selling point.

It all depends if McCarthy drops into the latter part of Rd #1. I would Trade our #1 and #3 next year to draft him and let him sit and learn behind Rodgers.

What do you mean 'drops'? The mocks I've seen don't have him in the first round.

If the Jets manage to sign the right backup quarterback for 2 years and use a 6 or 7th round pick on a developmental prospect with upside, then we shouldn’t need to draft anything more than another developmental player as the years go by. We just have to stop signing the likes of Strevelerand Boyle and start looking at decent options.

My dream draft would be JD hitting on at least 4 of the picks. I don’t mean 4 all pro/probowlers which would be great.
Jets need to hit and have draft picks playing meaningful roles.
JD has too many drafts where there is no results.
Perine RB, de Polite, wr Mims, de Zuninga, Clarke ot J. Morgan QB , ot Edoga, te Wesco, lb B Cashman, s Pinnock, Hasirildeen lb , DT Jon Carter,
That’s excluding the past two drafts.
Bechton bust, AVT, if he can’t stay healthy he’s a bust also.
Zach Wilson, Jets fucked him, he’s a bust here.
E. Moore- turned into Tippman.
JD has hit on Sauce, GW, JJ, Breece, M. Carter II, Huff UDFA, Adams UDFA
Serviceable- A. Davis, B. Echols, M. Clemons. Bryce Hall, J. Sherwood
JD needs to hit this draft like he hit ‘22, but without the great draft capitol.
He needs to hit in FA, he cannot afford any misses like Tomlinson, Uzomah, Cook, Lawson, Lazard, R. Cobb,

I agree that not many 6th or 7th round players make it, but good teams always seem to find those type of players.

Try looking at Tankathon , which has him at #43. On another Jets site somebody is saying they must take Penix if he 'falls to #10'. It is pointless taking a developmental QB when you have no O line to allow him to be fairly evaluated.

Look all I say is draft a QB that has some potential. Someone that somebody once thought was 4 or 5 star caliber coming out of high school and do your best to develop the prospect. If it doesn’t work what’s lost, a 6th or 7th round pick ?

Several seasons of we don't have the assets to draft a quality player and the loss of our own FAs. The quality players we have now are ready to jump ship as soon as possible as it is. That first in 25 is going to be needed
