What is the overall consensus about Braxton Berrios?

I think he is definitely worth resigning as a KR especially. I want huge upgrade at WR, but don't have a problem with him as long as he is not the best WR.
definitely want him back......kind of a niche player that fits this team....hopefully he understands that as well......get something done around $3m/per. Cordarelle Patterson got $3m after a few years as a Pro Bowl return man and he was 30 years old.....Berrios 26 going on 27 next year.......doesn't have the resume'.

It doesn't matter to me what we pay him since we have so much flexibility and its not my money. I do think he needs to be rewarded for his loyalty and his desire to get better and make an impact at any position.
just for discussion purposes but yes the team needs players like him
smart heady, brings the physicality and has great quickness
And he isn't like most of the Jets players that took the money and never performed again.

I would love to keep Berrios. I thought he was outstanding in everything he was asked to do . It would be a political plus for the team to retain him. Coaches like him, team mates like him, fans like him. Perhaps a 2-3 year deal at $2 to $2.5 mill per year with a guaranty should do it
Crowder was supposed to make 20 mil this year but settled for 5 mil and Berrios outplayed him and also starts at 2 other positions for the team . You’re undervaluing the guy .

Crowder is more productive as a WR and able to get open vs man better....but I don't want my comments misinterpreted as a lack of support for Braxton - I want him back and as the gadget guy he has value...but it's a niche so Jets have to be certain not to bid against themselves.
Not sure what his monetary value really is. I went off Pattersons deal with ATL. Patterson is older, but does have a better resume in being a three way threat . I would be ok with 3 yr $9mm with most of it front loaded
