What will be the Jets 2016 record?

I just looked at their schedule and it is absolutely grim death as Manish Mehta put it. I can't see the Jets winning a single game before week 8 at the Browns. The Jets will own the Dolphins twice again this season. I figure an accurate win total is around 4 games. I have been saying 6 wins and that's because I figure the Jets should catch at least one team off guard this season, but in a vacuum I give the Jets about 4 wins this season. What do you say?

with Fitz: 9-7
without Fitz(Geno): 7-9
without Fitz(Petty): ?-? -- would love to see this kid take the next step
without Fitz(Hackenberg): ?-? -- this kid has two years to forget

I said last season an approximate win total of 7 to 9 games and an absolute ceiling of 10 games. I'm not taking credit for anything though. I didn't pinpoint a specific win total. Just a range.I said last season an approximate

I said 10 games last year, with a peak of 12.we should have beat the bills twice and the pats twice,but we didn't. We also would have won the Oakland game had Fitz not been an idiot. That single loss kept us out of the playoffs.

With Fitz returning for a second year of chemistry and a real rb to rely on, I say 10 wins again. Brady missing 4 games gives us a punchers chance at the division, but once the season begins, that schedule changes week to week.

With any other qb we max out at 6 wins. I'd prefer 4 and the first pick.

Pretty much agree except I think Geno and Fitz are interchangeable number but a different way of getting there. I haven't disregarded Geno all together (as so many have) but I do believe the only hope is that Petty or Hack emerges to be "the guy"and that is the only way we have a winning season. Loved Fitz as a 3M off the bench solid vet;starter,not so much.

That's really cool. I personally haven't been able to get another dog yet. I am still too heart broken. The breeder I got Rufus from has actually offered me a freee fully trained dog, but I can't do it right now....

My best guess, with or without Fitz, I don't see this as a playoff team this year. I do think the defense is good enough to where the doom and gloom predictions are ridiculous.

Ultimately, my guess would be 7-9. Floor of 6-10, ceiling of 9-7.

So you predicted they would SUCK, which when interpreted correctly means you thought they had a ceiling of 10 games? Which in turn means this year's ceiling of 6 is actually 8? I'd love to know how you endured the seasons where we actually were horrible.

I don't know how this year will turn out and to be honest I don't care as long as our young pieces show potential. But the guy who preaches "the end is near" will actually be right one day. That doesn't make him Nostradamus, just a ridiculously depressing person . . .
