In my opinion and probably IMOO and that's fine you build a team through the draft and it all starts with the oline and a QB. Let's just focus on since this new regime been here. They were on the right track with trading for BM because he's is still a high impact players and rear at his position. You don't find WR that big and that talented except for the great ones like J. Jones, A. J. Green, D. Bryant, Fitzgerald and BM. Now you also have the young guys coming up and they will be in this category like Benjamin, M. Evans, Jefferies and Robinson.
The new regime messed up by strictly going the veteran route in other areas where they should have build more through the draft. They also messed up by overloading in one position, the dline when they could have gone other possession in the draft or used one of those players for trade bait to get other players of need. They initially were going to go with Geno which at the time I didn't have a problem with that until jawbreak gate. This year they should done whatever it took to move up and draft Wentz. Like giving up Wilkerson and a first and second this year.
This regime felt they had a win now team and decided to go strictly with vet FAs, real old ones like Fitzgarbage and Forte and Cro (from last year) and older vet oline players. This has come back to bite them in the ass because Forte isn't what he was 5 years ago in Chicago, Fitz is horrible and last year he proved was a fluke. There dline with all those huge 300 pounders aren't getting to the QB, when they should have traded one of them or not drafted Williams to draft another high impact player. Lastly they didn't draft Dak this year and they could have got him within four fucking rounds. I will never let go of that!
