Will Mac Pull Off a Big Trade This Summer?

If the Jets can trade for Fowler, then this would be the absolute best off-season of all-time.

We have not had a Pass rusher since John Abraham (2005). If Bridgewater is the focal point f the trade and thats what JAX wants plus a third rounder...You do IT!

This Jets squad is built in a certain fashion that we have play makers that allow other players to play at a higher level. The only one we're missing is a legit pass rusher. How long will this Jets defense depend on their secondary to make plays while there is no push on the DLine??

We have our franchise QB. We have Wrs that can burn any defense and getting Q is a huge plus. Our O_line is vastly improved. Our Secondary is absolutley lethal with the addition of Trumaine Johnson. Our Line backing core became more agressive with the signing of Johnson.

We Need a pass rusher. Make this happen.

It’s really the last piece of the defense. With an above average to elite edge rusher, we’re a good looking unit. I just question what it would take to get Fowler. Even though Jax is stacked in the front 7, they’re not going to give him away for a QB that is no sure thing to return to form. I think it’d take Bridgewater and probably a few high picks for Jax to even consider it.

No way I would give up a high draft pick. JAX didn't even pick up the 5th year option. Wait for him to be cut if Teddy B won't get it done.

Fowler is not worth Bridgewater and a high pick. He's worth a conditional late round pick.
He has 1 start going into year 4. Multiple arrest and off field issues too. There is a reason Jax refused to pick up his option.
This team has a ton of needs ,Fowler is not the Missing piece.
We have a rookie QB with very little experience at the QB position, no true#1 Reciever, very average RBs, 2 unproven TEs, coming off injury and and an arrest for 1.
At best a middle of the pack O line if long recovers and stays healthy , and carpenter manages to improve playing in the ZBS which he is terrible in.
The D should be improved but are far from a top unit. The LB corps are sub par at best. D line ,aside from Williams are an unknown. There's little quality depth at CB, and Clairborne has a lengthy injury history.
Next year, with over $100 million in cap space, hopefully a FQB in place and a draft full of top quality O line and pass rushers and WRs , the team should finally be in contention for the playoffs.
