This just sucks. The moment we need a QB and it's clear that we do and are drafting high enough to get one, there aren't any QBs of real praise, intelligence, heart, leadership and talent in the draft. I personally don't know what we do from this point. I'm not sold on Petty, if what their saying about Hack is true then that's not good at all, Geno time to turn the page, Fitzshitty I hope we never see him in a Jets uniform again. The FA pool looks like garage and I'm not interested in some average QB like Taylor or wash outs like Glennon or Foles.

We might actually be ok with Romo for a year or two but I don't want them either. To old and fragile. Cutler may even be good for us a year or two with his arm strength and talent. Only problem is, everything else about him is useless and we'll be at a lose with him. Of course I'm hoping for lighting of a great nature to strike, like Hack wakes up and becomes our guy. Or we draft a late round Dak type of QB to be the future for the next 15-20 years. Only problem is, stuff like that seems to happen once or twice every 15 years or so and it never happens to the Jets.

So where are we left from, I be damned if I know but it ain't looking good. Guess we start with building the oline and skilled offensive players and hopefully a true QB falls in our laps over the next 2-3 years. If it truly isn't Hack!!!

Ryan Ramczyk has thrown his hat into the draft, officially...

No. 1 pick should, could be this kid... Just hoping the other top prospects are too good for the other five teams to pass up, so he lands to us...

Hoping he is the guy.

Not good if you are a fan of the Jets. Many years until being competitive and thats if Mac can draft well enough. So far he has been average at best. At #6 he should be able to get a stud.

I'd be shocked if he wasn't there. Unless he starts soaring up draft boards, he's the #2 rated LT on most evaluations. And considering all the Alabama studs and potential QB's available, as well as Fournette, Garrett, and M.Williams, I'd be willing to put my 401K on it that Ramczyk will be available at #6.

Might be a reach, but I wouldn't piss and moan about it. He's a safe pick, and a huge need pick.

There are two players i want on the Jets next year, Deshaun Watson and Boulware.
Make it three Renfrow.

Boulware is short for a LB at 6 feet. He also got run over by Scarborough on first touchdown run.

I think this game moved Watson to the top two finalist along with Trubisky and Kiser third. QB

I'm looking for an impact defensive player, preferably an edge rusher, or a stud T if one is available. As much as I love Dalvin Cook, and I have for a couple of years now, I would not take a RB that high, because I think this draft will present an opportunity to take a freakishly talented RB in the 3rd or 4th round; Joe Mixon out of Oklahoma is a first round talent who will reportedly drop because of the incident for which he was suspended for his entire freshman year, but all reports are that he is a genuinely good kid who did a horrible thing and has taken complete responsibility for his actions with no excuses. I would love to see the Jets take a chance on him in 3rd or 4th. He is big and strong with great speed and power, and can catch the ball like a wr.

I have a feeling once the smoke clears, and some of the warts like the elongated motion have been exposed he will settle back to where he should be. A lot of scouts had him in the 2nd round, not sure if one game should propel him to a top 5 pick.

I'm in agreement on not taking a RB that high, particularly with the average at best OL that we have. Stud OT, EDGE, and perhaps Adams (S) or Foster (ILB) would be my picks. Really hope Ramczyk is the pick if available.

Please just don't pick any Alabama players from their defense.

that's just dumb based on one game. they had the best defense in the country. if you are gonna cherry-pick one bad game, then you will eliminate pretty much every single draft eligible player.

They are great defense as a team. Individually they are probably closer to Milliner.

i always hated these lazy generalizations that because a former player from school X wasn't good that no future players from school X will be good.

each player should be judged on his own merits, not on what someone at his school before him did as a pro. you can point to dee milliner. one could easily counter with landon collins who was an all pro in his 2nd year.

alabama consistently recruits the top players in the country and has many successful pro contributors. so i wouldn't write off any of their players because milliner was a bust. and i say that as someone who hates saban and his sleazy program
