I keep Fant and trade Becton for that 1st rounder. The guy is a B-U-S-T. He has the talent but loves to eat more than playing ball it seems. I hope he proves me wrong but Fant is the type of player you keep. The guy was an undrafted FA who has clawed his way to a starting position the old fashioned way: HE EARNED IT. His play is light years better than last year and he seems to be improving every Season. I think Fant is going to continue improving as time goes on. You keep this guy and see what happens. Becton? I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

Fant has really improved at LT (in Pass Protection). As for opening up holes in the running game we are talking about 2 different players. Becton is more polished as an asset to the running game where Fant is not. If your looking for a LT to just protect your QB's Blindside, then Fant is your man. I still think Becton is our future at LT and Fant is a trade chip to acquire a late 1st or early 2nd Rd pick.
