Dreamer - awesome call out by you.

I just wanted to clarify one point you made, he is only "under sized" in terms of height. But he is one big muscle bound horse at 6'0 265. I think he can be an outstanding 2 down MLB that plays on all your special teams. I wouldn't be surprised if they drafted him to play MLB...call me crazy. I like that we are looking at him. He's a beast and just a football player that looks like a sideline to sideline tree trunk. His biggest issue is he can't cover...like a young Brandon Spikes.

He kind of reminds me of James Harrison......no too tall freakish athlete....

I think both sides of this debate are right, Cooper is the better route runner which does result in more separation, you watch his tape and you just see him running down field wide open a lot more often, and its not because teams weren't paying attention to him, he was Bama's most dangerous player and every defense he faced rolled their coverage to him, he's just a smooth SOB who glides in and out of his cuts.

On the other hand Kevin White's numbers are fairly equal, he put up some monster numbers too, albeit in not quite the same way. Physically he was just superior to the DB's who tried to cover him; bigger, stronger and faster, he's also a great leaper who goes up and gets it at its highest point, and he has the best hands I've seen on a college WR since Michael Irvin. Yeah, I'm that old, I remember watching Irvin at Miami (and being in awe), and White reminds me a little bit of Irvin, though I'm sure White ran a faster forty, but a similar player in my view.

Thats why I have a hard time separating the two. If I had to I would put White 1 and Cooper 2 for the same reasons as Super, he's just a superior physical specimen, but talent wise it couldn't be more equal and you might even give a slight nod to Cooper. Bottom line, too me this is similar to AJ Green and Julio Jones when they came out, you can't go wrong either way, both guys have ELITE #1 WR written all over them.

Its a tough call with all these WR...the majority of their success is based on QB play, how many chances their team gets (IE Alabama defense always getting ball back,) teams OL, etc....personally I like Cooper and White..but I would take a defensive guy...defensive guys can do alot more on their own than a WR....

I mean if you put a guy like Parker or Perriman or Agholor or Strong on Alabama..they probably would have done pretty much the same thing

I don't think that Fitzgerald was ever that fast.

He never was, 100% agree. However, even at Pitt (I was at Penn State at the time), the dude had Go-Go Gadget limbs. He has long arms and a wide body. His 4.4s speed was always enough because as he matured he also perfected his route running (I think he became obsessed with being the next Chris Carter, to be honest, his favorite player as a kid).

Similar to Carter, his game was never built off speed. I still think his game is closer to Andre Johnson, IMO.

[h=1]Benardrick McKinney could be a sleeper pick for the Jets if we trade down. Kacey Rogers spent a lot of time with him at his pro day.[/h]

Reminds me of James Harrison who became a better pass rusher in the pros than he was in college.

He's big, strong, good burst and plays angry.

Would he make it to 37?

That's my thought. kendricks is the top MLB and will go late rd 1. I love that kid. I think he's going to be a stud (even better than his beast brother on the Eagles...who is available via trade current with Alonso and Ryan on the roster). McKinney goes after him, likely early rd 2 I'd bet.

I actually think the Jets may shock some people and grab Peters CB Wash...they seem to love him and he's been called the most complete CB in the draft by many.
