With the hindsight granted by time, Monday's view of the game against the Texans cast a rosy spotlight on Mr. Zachery Wilson. The Wilson to Wilson connection showed little sign of fraying. The New Jersey Jets, for the first time in a while, showed real promise. Hopefully, all talk about 'losing the locker room' will be relegated to the dust bin where it belonged from the start.
True, the Jets have no lock on the first picks in the draft, but perhaps, just perhaps, mind you, they don't desperately need them. Also true, there remain some weak spots, but there's a back-up QB available for the next season, even though the price paid for him is exorbitant and his viability under a pounding's questionable. [Ed.: The careful reader will note that the names of the starting and back-up quarterbacks have been left undefined, but recognizable!]
Go flag-free, Gang Green!
