We can certainly agree on penalties! Their effect, cumulative, on a game is sometimes overlooked.
Then, once in a great while, a penalty such as that committed near the end of yesterday's Chiefs game by Mr. Kadarius Toney is brought into glaring focus. What was a surprise play -- a delight to watch executed flawlessly -- which would have won an exciting game was nullified. The game was lost. There was no joy in Mudville.

In the Bizarro world of the Jets, Zach seems to thrive against better QBs. Josh, Hurts, Mahomes, Stroud even with his Pop Warner offense showing up.
Unfortunately I missed the game in Sunday because I was traveling, but I’ll just say, let’s see what happens in the next 4 games. It’s not like Zach hasn’t had promising games before. He usually does it once or twice a season.
IMO you have to look at the total body of work, and can’t put too much stock into the anomalous performance. I’ve seen enough over three seasons, this may just increase his trade value to something doable.

My dream end to the season: Zach plays well in the defeat at Miami but injures his hand, The Chimp does just well enough in relief to secure the critical losses against Washington and Cleveland. Zach comes back to lay the Belichick Hoodoo, giving us something to feel good about in the close season and a 6-11 record which should allow us to pick a competent LT in the draft.
Belicheat never loses that game. It's his swan song in NE at home against his hated Jets. No doubt in my mind that Bill rides off into the sunset with another bitch slapping of whomever is at QB, including Four Play Boy.
I've never been convinced by this theory that Belichick hates the Jets. Without the Jets his record as New England head coach would be greatly diminished. And without Mo Lewis Brady might have remained an insignificant backup.
So why not give Mo Lewis just one of his rings

I think he has always hated Woody Johnson. It's why Belicheat split and has looked to beat the Jets any chance he gets.
