Incidentally, we supposedly had more money to spend in free agency than anyone else, so why aren't we signing Kong Suh too?

Yeah I know he's off his rocker, at times uncontrollable and meaner than a junkyard dog, but I WANT SOME OF THAT on our defense, and he fills what is now a big need. With Wilkerson and Sheldon both gone, both having flopped, Suh is the ideal 3-4 DE to play opposite Williams.

Then we are an edge rusher away from kicking the living shit out of people, provided we add the Honey Badger too.

In fact if we did this, I would hardly be brokenhearted if we stood at 6, missed on the QB's, and had to roll the dice on Marcus Davenport or Tremaine Edmunds.

Then used drafted a developmental QB like Jackson, Lauletta or Mike White in RD 2

If we don't miss on the QB's at 6, GREAT, but if we did and had to settle for a stud edge rusher, AFTER adding the above pieces, I could live with that.

Then use the two 2's we have two maybe trade back into RD 1 for a Lamar Jackson, or sit tight for Lauletta or White.

I know the goal is to eventually win the superbowl, but to do that playing in the acc then you have to beat brady, cause no one else is going to do that for us.

The Only Way To Do That Is To Hit Him And You Are Right, We Need Someone To Do That. Suh, Likes To Hit Brady. He Should Be Looked At.

We Can Have The Greatest Secondary of All Time, But If No One Gets Near Brady, He'll Just Stand In The Pocket For 10 Seconds And Someone Will Eventually Be Open. Plus Noone Can Cover Gronkowski either. He Needs To Be Hit Hard At The Linee

I Dont Know If Sheldon Richardson Has Been Resigned Yet, But If Not, I'd Take Him Back. He May Not Have Always Been The Smartest Guy, But He Hates To Lose About As Much As I Do. That Makes Him Dangerous

Teddy is a guy everyone can cheer for. He is young, He was won in the league. He basically won a playoff game if it wasn't for a kicker missing a FG late. My fear is the Jets brought back McCown and brought in Teddy to groom that douche from OU. Can't think of two better QB's to teach that idiot humility.

Well the Jets were at least competent last year on offense. They were way better than I thought they would be. Making the Jets defense elite is way easier than making the offense competent.

Suh does not seem to be the kind of signing this regime would make. Honey Badger, though, makes sense.

I like him better than Long. I like Long at $7 million per more than I like Jensen at $10.5 million per.

He waited it out for someone to make him the highest paid Center in the NFL. I liked him too, but not that much. Long will give the Jets a starting caliber Center.

Yeah, I saw that. It would have been great, but it was a luxury, not a necessity. The secondary is already stout.
