But what we don't know is can a female ghost give you mono?

Look not everyone can see a ghost so maybe some don't believe the D-man. Sad in this day & age. I believe him so do some others.

I hope the ghosts find another player maybe Brady

Not a 100% certainty, but research points to this being the mechanism for transmission of mono from ghost to human host:

It's a stupid narrative. That's my opinion. It's tired, boring, infantile, and a perpetuates a losing culture. Darnold moved on from it. Jet fans should too.

The problem is that it's not Darnold's problem to move away from. When convenient, or to add emphasis to a point, media and opposing fans will use it into perpetuity. If Sanchez lives to be 100, on the day of his death the butt fumble will be brought up. That's Darnold's fate, too.

Darnold knew he was miked. Should have never given the Pats defense--and media--that much ammo.

Hey Sister Big Joe on WFAN brought it up the other day . Today Boomer brought it up.....call in & talk with them if you think so. This is funny & the D-man got caught with his pants down LOL....He was a big joke. Now that is not to say he can't play himself out of it but at the time & to this day its got him pegged. He looked & sounded like a loser that night. Let's see him work his way out. But that night he was big joke.....a clown

That's precisely my point - Darnold could go on to have a HOF career and fans will still be talking about this infantile nonsense. Darnold probably never expected that would get aired, and I'm sure he wasn't thinking about the microphone at that point in time. The more people perpetuate a losing narrative, the harder it is to change the culture. Fans own some of that too - the whole SOJ thing and all that stuff.

Butterscotch - love ya man, but please don't call me Sister...

And yes, he played like shit that night. The whole team did, and he was the joke. But that game is over. He has already played his way out of it. Have you watched the last few games?

Look I give him credit when he gets it. He has done well against the bottom of the league. He needs these games as I have said some others don't but he does. He needs to have someone carry him at this point. I am all for him as a fan I want to see him do well. Nothing would be better then seeing him & Kyler holding up the trophy over the next few years.....but we need to get the milk off his chin first

Totally agree - he's in his second year, second system, new coach, bad o-line, etc. We know the issues. And yes, he needs to mature as a player (not a person because he's got a great head on his shoulders and is all about football and leading the team). From where I sit, there's no doubt that will happen. Philip Rivers threw 4 INTs last week - no one is blasting him as this horrible QB. It happens, it's professional football. He's going to figure it out. I saw growth in just the last two games. Yes, they weren't particularly good teams, but his decision-making was overall excellent. One bad throw. And he made some exceptional throws - throws many QBs in the league wont' attempt or can't make. Everyone needs to give the kid some time. The best thing I see from him is resilience, and that's huge. This kid is not going to go into a shell with a bad game. He's going to come out and work to get that much better. Talent wise, he's among the most talented QBs in the league. He just needs more experience and more help around him. Put this kid in an offense with the Dallas personnel for example - how do you think he'd do? I think he'd be amongst the league leaders in every category, just like Dak.

Point is - look at the bigger picture and not one comment made on the sidelines in the heat of battle, during a bad game.

Know we know where the ghosts went LOL

I agree the one area that I am really concerned about are the INt's…...He had it in college & he has it in the pros......The good is that he is young...the bad maybe that some never lose it. It stays with them like a haunted house. Lets hope the D-man gets past this.
