funny but I almost was not here too. My grandfather before he was married was seeing a women that he planned to get married too. they were going to go on a church picnic on the General Slocum. He had to work at the last minute. So he did not go but his girl did. As many know the ship was on fire & this lady died. In 1904 most people could not swim & this lady was one of them. If my grandfather was there they would have been married if he saved her since he was a very good swimmer......Or he may have drowned or burned on the ship. Both ways I would not be here......One less Jet fan lol

and thats only part of it. Along with that tv, I had a pretty nice, albeit very old surround sound system. I had wanted to upgrade it for awhile as much of it was over 20 years old. A couple months ago my daughter turned it on and an amp started smoking. funny thing is, I had already been looking at a new amp so I now had no choice but to get it.
it doesnt end there because , literally the next month, my center channel speaker broke. Again, oddly, that would have been the next thing I upgraded.
so since I was already in 2 pieces deep I figured might as well get the tv too. next year will be the new processor. they are hard to get right now because of covid and are on backorder
all that money was supposed to by me a quad with a plow this year because I'm tired of the crappy snowblower. oh well. quad may have to hit the equity line

Now back to the topic. The draft seems like it was Ok to good but again for the next five years The Bills should be a power house, the fish are the fish but if their QB is any good they should be very good. On top of that Billy Boy will have that team rocking again soon. We could ...... I will say this again but we could be good & in 4th place in two years.
We need to be great not good over the next few years to even make the playoffs. this is my concern.
Can JD & staff do it????? maybe but I think we need to see results of some kind this year. not in wins but in players that are very good. We need to see a LT that does not run to Mommy every time he cuts his finger for a band aid. We need to see a take charge QB that grows.
If Wilson is just average it will not cut it.

The AFC East could be like the NFC East of the late 80's-mid 90's, where it seemed like one of the NFC reps in the SB was either Washington, Dallas or NY. We could have the same thing with Bills, Jets and ??. I think we will be be better than Fins and Pats because I don't believe Tua will develop into much more than an average starter, and New England will never again reach the dominance it enjoyed with TB. I think it will take year 3 of the Douglas/Saleh partnership for the Jets to truly contend, but at that point we will have a sustainable, quality team that will be strong for years. That is my hope.
I agree but there was another team in the 80's in that div. that you did not name...the Cardinals lol...I hope the Jets don't play that roll here.
If i were the fish I would have another qb besides Tua..........they are building a good to great team why risk it
Mac Jones may be the answer for the Pats & again if the fish are smart they may land one of these upset QB's that are out there. All I am saying is being good may not be enough. lets hope we are great...
I would not be shocked to see Fins make a play for Rodgers. They clearly have the draft and young player assets to do it. If so, that would throw this division into an elite level, at least in the short term.
It would be some Revolution in Miami.......with Rogers from GB it would be one if by land & Tua by sea. the fans would be excited

My wife has a brand new awd pacifica. And I love my 2008 2wd silvetado work truck that still looks like new. paid under 15k out the door for that truck new. can't beat that.
#1 son decided not to finish college. number 2 son commutes to CCSU so that only costs us about $6500 a semester plus once a year he gets a $1000 off for a scholarship. bought him a new elantra to commute but still cheap. my daughter gets really good grades so hoping she gets into UConn where she would have free tuition because my wife works at the health center. send her to the branch for almost free for 2 years then off to Storrs.
I'm pretty darn lucky, just realized it. I should buy more stuff. I always wanted a 66 chevelle.
