there was no calling for tripping and clear as day Saleh asking the ref why it wasn't called Michael Carter 2 yard gain should of went for more but another blind no call by the refs...
yes. there is always some unbelievable crap that makes a.jet game a jet game, but that's just it. there is always some crap that makes a.jet game a jet game. .Someone needs to take Namath down.to the Crossroads and set this crap straight.
How much do refs get fined for bad or missed calls ? ? ? ?
what happens is that they don't get to work in the good games where real football teams play, so they get demoted to working Jet games. it's an endless cycle

The initial RTP call was an f'n joke, however, MR abused our D the whole f'n game. ZW was horrendous and couldn't complete a 5-yard pass accurately. Flush this game and hopefully, we look competent in the next game.

Well, don’t want to hear about any rookie bullshit against the pats in two weeks.
D. Mills Texans threw 3 TD’s 21 for 29 for over 300 yds.
So,cut the bullshit and come up with a fucking plan to beat that hooded dick.

In my opinion and I may be alone in this, the defense has been struggling all damn year. They can’t seem to stop teams on third down for the most part and aren’t causing turnovers. Maybe that’s because their gassed and the offense isn’t helping them much. Maybe it’s because they just don’t have enough talent and they’re giving all the have. So this is the best we’ll see from them all damn year. I don’t know but last game, with all those sacks they still allowed the Titans to go up and down the field at will (for the most part) and the Titans scored when they needed it most. The offense is even further behind. This team has a long way to go!!!

The final score unto itself was not embarrassing. Watching the game without knowing the former, I would say the Jets lost, ummm
72-3.
Ryan was like Michael Jordan playing against a high school.

CJ Mosley can not continue to play OLB... I know he lost weight and is faster but he is a run stuffer and in this defense we need that guy to plug the hole... He can still drop in coverage...

Del'Shawn Phillips, Jamien Sherwood, Blake "IR" Cashman & Quincy Williams could formulate the outside roles...

don't forget we get Jarrod back soon.

in total agreement...CJ needs to be in the grind to stop the run!!! Quincy and Davis can hold down the outside, and we have kids who can spell them.

too much zone coverage leaving the middle of the field wide open is what happened, they invited Matt Ryan in and he stayed there all day long...

yup...on their final scoring drive, they had 3rd and 8 (?)...and we gave that 8 to them in cushion. He was literally dissecting us apart with a million cuts.

NAILED IT!!!

you have to get off the field on third downs.
a.) your pass rush gets weaker if you play more downs than necessary.
b.) you don't get "pressure" picks when you don't get pressure.

Lawson going down is showing itself. if he were playing, they can't double up Q, and the RB chip would be to Lawson, so Huff would benefit.

Not taking anything away from the kids, nor am i one upping you, but it is funny that you mention "fit" when we drafted 2 college safeties to start in the NFL at LB....I do think they will be great in time!

for now, i am looking forward to Davis adding just as much of a spark as Quincy did. know why? because he is a legit experienced backer who knows the job. he was a nice fit in a 4-3 scheme before he was asked to play a backer role that was unfamiliar to him.

they drafted two kids to develop into starters...
they signed Del'Shawn Phillips and Noah Dawkins originally in the off season placed them on practice squad hoping that Quincy Williams and IR Cashman would be the starters...

Del'Shawn got called up and then was signed to the active roster when IR Cashman went on IR...
Dawkins also a solid fit in this scheme probably should be on the active roster...

Sherwood is playing and is starting he was one of the best players on the field the last two weeks with PFF rating over 75...

Nasirildeen was a role player splitting time with Quincy until Quincy became a spear and was drilling people... Hamsah went on IR and Quincy is the full time player...

but safeties in a 4-3 if they have the height and weight they can convert to 4-3 LBs as the change over from a 3-4 OLB are 4-3 DEs...

I thought its odd that Falcons really only had 1 WR to pass to and Jets didnt pressure QB. All day to pass to 1 WR? Losing to a 1 Wr team is odd.

one receiver 3 tight ends and 2 running backs but yea we should of ramped up the pressure... problem with that the tight ends got behind our coverage because the linebackers were blitzing...

ATL's Oline destroyed our Dline in the first half...end of story! by doing so, they kept stunts off the table, because we were on our heals not being able to stop the simple throws, nor the run. once we struggled getting off of the field, the rush was obsolete with weary legs.

however, i have to say that the tone was set by the roughing the pansy call on the first series. they seemed to back off the gas after that.

huge proponent of back to back personal fouls for roughing the pansy if the first is a garbage call for that very reason. play a dime defense and blindside the QB the very next play with a CB blitz just to show there are no breaks on the car!!!

i.e., let crime fit the punishment, bc we got hosed!!!

The Jets were schooled by Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and coach Arthur Smith, both of whom were one step ahead of the defense and the Jets' coaches. They had no answers for tight end Kyle Pitts (nine catches for 119 yards, one TD) and their third-down defense was terrible (9-for-14). What happened? The defense looked gassed after 92 plays last week and a cross-Atlantic trip. The pass rush, which generated seven sacks last week, was invisible. -- Cimini
