Are the Jets a playoff team in 2022?

The Patriots look good with Zappe. They dismantled the Browns yesterday. We can’t take the Pats lightly for sure.

They look good with (almost) every QB. Remember 2008, when Brady went down for the season, Matt Cassel (!!!!) threw for almost 4000 yards, and the Cheats went 11-5....
The Evil one has once again figured out his defense and, as usual, is dropping newly drafted guys quickly when they don't perform at the expense of some veterans.
I can probably speak for everyone here that we are all sick and tired of losing to this SOB (the last blissful experience when Rex knocked them out in the playoffs in Boston, and Brady was scared for his life all game), so we HAVE to beat them at least once this year....

It sort off looks like more and more of you are getting on my train and my 10 wins or more prediction doesn't seem so far fetched any more. We've got the talent and when everyone gets healthy and they gain experience teams will not want to face off with our rebuilt Jets team. Funny. Most of the world gave all the credit to brady and totally discredited belichick after brady went to a totally stacked tompa team and won the Super Bowl during covid thanks to his defense shutting down Majomes. Now it seems belichick may have known something again. I cant wait until both of these a holes are gone for good

If the Jets beat Denver and head into that NE game 5-2, I can already see the stadium at MetLife. That’s going to be a playoff atmosphere.

I’ve watched inspiring, no quit football this season from a team I’ve rooted for all of my life. I haven’t been this excited during games since we had Fitz/Marshall/Decker & Co. Out there playing.

Loving the winning, loving the playmakers all over the field! This has been some exciting football!!

I am not going to move the goalposts. I thought 3-6 at the bye and a minimum of 7-10, likely 8-9, maybe 9-8. It would be disingenuous of me to now say they should finish the season 11-6, and then rant and rave about how horrible they are and SOJ if they only go 9-8.

I think a lot of people had predicted 7-10 wins this season. So, not many thought you were far fetched. Outside of bad coaching, I don't see how you can be solid throughout the roster and just average.

too late...the jets at 4-2 have already moved said goalposts for you..

i would bet there is not one person in that locker room who's not thinking about continuing on a realistic playoff run at this point.. why wouldn't they be?! that horse is already well out of the barn..

am i enjoying this season?! you bet.. but they have shown themselves to be ahead of schedule & i'm all about making the playoffs in any season when we have a realistic shot at it.. they have a real shot at it as i text this message..

Well it's not just that. What will be the team needs? LT, LB and then what? It might be better to trade out of the draft and into the following year so that there's picks available for when some of these players are moving to their second contract.
