Very trueDon't bank on Breece coming back as the same player. Look at how long it took Say-who to get back on track after his injury.

Hey Moetired of seeing teams go from suck to good in a few years and the Jets keep on sucking
I could make the list of teams but fuck it don’t care
There’s one that has to be burning woodys ass
MetLife booed the shit outta the Jets
MetLife had a party yesterday
Trust the process. We are ahead of schedule.tired of seeing teams go from suck to good in a few years and the Jets keep on sucking

Epic maybe, but not surprising, I did start a thread about it a long time ago4 game losing streak is bad, but a 6 game is an epic collapse even for the Jets.
I think the only coaches who would come here are coaches with no other choice.I feel like a shakeup has to occur on this staff. I really like Saleh as a person, but I think his rah-rah, positive vibes only leads to lack of discipline. Let's not forget all the receipts he was talking. Bad penalties. Falling behind early. Poor clock management. Not being ready to play. I think I read somewhere that two players were warming up in costumes. I have no idea if that was true, but that is unacceptable for a winning organization. Thats giving this generation of players way too much rope. I'm on record that if Payton is available and wants to coach the Jets which I don't think he does you press hard for him. If Saleh is not on the hot seat then he needs to fire his best friends brother. Will he do it? What does everyone else think??
Maybe Frank Reich as OC if he was interested.
SMDH!Jets were outcoached in every single game during this skid. Thats unacceptable.
So what happens if and when they hire Peyton and he hasn’t turned this team around in two years? Fire him and his staff? Come on man, be better than that! A coaching staff needs time, especially when they’ve given you/us a reason to. They’re building this correctly and started off the season hot. It just ended bad.I feel like a shakeup has to occur on this staff. I really like Saleh as a person, but I think his rah-rah, positive vibes only leads to lack of discipline. Not true?SMDH!
I don’t !!!!!Its ok. I still have positive vibes
I'd like Payton or Jim Harbaugh. Saleh will be fired regardless next season because he should not be a HC. I am so sick of hiring the incapables. Start hiring the proven.Question for TCT and anyone else who doesn’t want Saleh to be the New York Jets HC. If Saleh can coach this team, especially with MW to two more victories and a playoff berth, do you want to keep him then or still get Sean Peyton or whomever? I like Saleh and Joe D and want them to both stay. I’m just curious?

Thank you so much BigMoe. I am certain that Saleh is just not the answer. His teams showed up unprepared and unenthused for meaningful games. That doesn't change with time. We need to go after a big name. Woody is always a day late and quite a few million short when it comes to coaches. Parcells couldn't wait to leave, neither could Beli and Groh. That absolutely means something.
Welcome to the board
Not much to say other than the usual we suck
But the more the merrier!!!!!!
Misery love company
Forgive me if wrong but didn’t The great Parcells and Belicheat both left when this team was owned by the Hess family.Thank you so much BigMoe. I am certain that Saleh is just not the answer. Saleh has orchestrated a late-season collapse that might equal that of Pete Carroll. What makes this worse is that he has no answers at all.Saleh is in his 2nd year as a HC and deserves time to show if he will succeed or fail. IMO he has already exceeded expectations for the season. Prior to start of the season, no one believed we would be in the playoff hunt, and the early success moved the goalposts (which isn't fair either).
He showed he can adapt, he made mistakes but seems willing to make the hard decisions to help the team succeed. Big question now becomes, can he learn and adapt this offseason, and make the hard calls (in regards to his staff). LaFleur is a liability (IMO), he has some serious learning and growing he needs to do himself. Can he learn? Can he change? Only time will tell, but Saleh needs to fix that situation.
I think it's too early to make a call on the CS (all of them). They've all made mistakes, they are all new to this. The same way we gives players time to develop, this is a new/young staff, we have to give them some time to develop as well. I asked for growth and improvement, and they've given us that. This season (regardless of playoffs) is a success IMO
No, They left when it was owned by the Johnson Family. In today's NFL a dramatic improvement is possible in a very short amount of time and this team had a total collapse ala Pete Carroll. Saleh is not the answer and those who defend him today will realize next season that we wasted yet another season when we had the chance to go after proven coaches like Payton and Harbaugh. Having one of those coaches available simply does not happen every season, nevermind 2 of them.Forgive me if wrong but didn’t The great Parcells and Belicheat both left when this team was owned by the Hess family.
Didn’t this team also crumbled at the end of the season when Al Groh was head coach.
This team was torn down to the ground and rebuilt. In the first year it won 4 games. In the second year it has won 7 games thus far without competency at QB and a zillion injuries all along the OL and to the player establishing himself as the lead dog on offense.
But let’s fire the coach because he doesn’t coach like 2 guys who quit on the team 2 years into a rebuild that’s shown improvement.
