I like him more than Sammy Coates...Coates is bigger, almost 6'2, but Smith tracks the ball better in the air, catches with his hands, and despite only being 6'0, he had more TDs last year, 12, than Coates had his entire career at Auburn. Coates onlt had 4 TD catches last year on the same number of catches for the year as Smith...

I dont draft USC WRs and I think Smith can become a 1b WR, maybe like a young Terry Glenn, where Dorsett is a #2 ...so I liked him the best of the remaining. Considered Duke Johnson, but they went Stankey last year.

All kidding aside, I like Petty A LOT, and I honestly can't see why more teams haven't fallen in love with him. Physically he is the absolute prototype. He's big, strong arm, throws a tight spiral, fairly accurate, surprisingly athletic and can make plays with his legs if he has too, and he has a quick release too. IMO he has an enormous upside and I'll be thrilled if the Jets take him at 37, if we don't get Mariota at 6.

yeah i see him as a clone of brees with some teaching.

saints are prob the perfect scenario for him
