Well I guess my Saturdays just freed up because I had been watching Darnold/Rosen.

LOL!!! Say hello to Saquan Barkley and maybe they can draft a second round gem QB. Don't trade up please unless there is a no doubt beast there and what are the odds of that? We need all the picks we can get.

Note: Actually, if the coaching is smart enough and starts Powell and McGuire or gives McGuire ample touches as the number-2, he may prove that we don't need Barkley. Then the Jets can draft the best olinemen they can (I guess)??? Then again, Barkley appears to be a rear breed. A once in a generation type player. So you can't pass that up if he's staring you in the face.

That's exactly what I was thinking, with OL being the favored choice IMHO. There are a couple of high level prospects at the tackle position, and we seriously need help in that regard. I like Shell at RT, but KB at LT and our reserves are nothing to write home about. Powell and McGuire are both examples of the type of quality you can get in the later rounds, so as good as Barkley seems at this point, I would go the OL route. This is all assuming that we are not in the running for one of the top QBs. Speaking of, Darnold looks like a guy who should play another year of college ball to sharpen his game. Rosen, on the other hand looks pretty damn good to me and I would be thrilled with him.

Most definitely it appears so. The season is still young so we'll see how it turns but I honestly didn't think they would be 2-2 at this point. Most give them props.

Possibly but I can see Kizer slowly improving throughout the year. I see him proving to Cleveland that he is their guy. Franchise QB, I'm not sure of that but a decent to very good (Alex Smith type) multiple year starter. I can see that!

i don't think Kizer is the guy for the Browns. They are almost definitely going to take a QB if they have a top two pick.

The Browns did the Jets a favor by playing Kizer over Hogan today.

Shit, I want them to suck this and every year. I want them to go 0-16, just as I'm sure all or most Jets fans do. I just don't them taking our QB. I want them to draft a punter with their #1 draft pick!!

No. I want then to win the last 3 three games every year to finish with an 8-8 record. That way, they'll think they're on the right track for the future, won't change their lousy coaches, and have middle-of-the-pack draft picks. In other words, doomed to mediocrity for all eternity. THAT'S what I want for them.

all should be inline to draft a quarterback this upcoming draft...

Even the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings could be invested in drafting another QB...

As for the Browns they have a steady dose of youth in Hogan and Kizer which both have potential but the team isn't complete for them to be effective...

As for the Browns, we are in the same boat... Our offensive line, and now our running back situation on offense is in much needed rebuild mode... We have potential with Petty and Hackenberg, and if we do attempt to draft another qb it won't be in the first two rounds... Look out for the Junior Mississippi State QB Nick Fitzgerald, he would be an ideal addition to our depth... Defensively we are going to look to secure the d line in free agency and try to find additional defensive back help at corner also in free agency (short term rentals)...

Another thought is Darnold has thrown his 10th INT this year. Maybe not the savior yet.

No it doesn’t appear he is. He has struggled abit this year but Barkley definitely has not. Hopefully the Jets won’t have to trade up period to get him because if they do, it will take the entire farm to get him.

How will we know if we should go all out for a QB next year. This just doesn't make sense. Even Cleveland is playing their rookie to evaluate him. We are inept.

So I’m watching the OU @ OSU game and Baker Mayfield and Mason Rudolph look very good. Especially Mayfield and I see what you guys mean about him now. He is a gamer and a different type then that BS small ass show off Manziel from A&M. Mayfield is smaller in size but not skinny. He has the body type for the next level and all the other attributes you what in a franchise QB. Definitely a Russell Wilson type and not Manziel. Mayfield looks he can be the next big thing on the NFL level. So here’s what I was thinking, what if the the Jets can draft a Saquan Barkley or Josh Adams in the 1st round and Baker Mayfield or Mason Rudolph in the second?
