My entire family considers venison and bruin a staple of our diet as you guys are probably already aware of because I take time off from the forum every year to replenish our supply but like you I'm not a big fan of lamb though I have eaten it a my neighbors house along with goat on occasion. I prefer the goat to the lamb and I have never purchased veal.Now I have eaten plenty of venison lol

Close, but not quite right. Black bear and since they consider bear meat to be very similar to pork which they call the other white meat, OK. The little known truth though is that pork, in spite of it's light color when cooked, is not actually white meat. It's really red meat just like beef.
