All I know is Rodgers couldn't close out 6 games. And he threw game ending INTs in two games. Not all his fault, but he didn't make this team better and he won't make them better next year. He failed in GB his last season there. He is no longer that great regular season and playoff losing QB. He is just a losing QB.

I think that the recent Rodgers renaissance which has some calling for him to return is related to more time in the pocket. I'm not sure whether our offensive line has suddenly clicked or Miami and Jacksonville have really weak pass rushes.

If the return of the Rodgers circus is a condition of the job, no decent candidate will take the GM or HC positions. We might as well make Hackett HC and at least get something for what we're paying him. Rodgers can be GM. Makes no difference because Buffalo and Miami will be at the top of the AFC East. Patriots are in better shape than the Jets at the moment with the promising young QB that we helped them draft with the garbage time win at the end of last season.

I could name many reasons to not want him back and that list is longer than the reasons to bring him back.

That asshole has gotta go! Meanwhile, Sam Darnold is playing his ass off in Minnesota. I was happy beyond belief when the Jets drafted him. He was the only QB that draft I wanted them to get. He then played like garbage, which was understandable with the talent he had around him.

What was even worse and the kicker for me, was the fact that he seemed lost and like he didn’t even want to be out there. That’s what made me want to get rid of him in his third year. Just goes to prove some guys need more time and just aren’t ready their first few years.

Zack Wilson will probably be the same damn way, when Denver trades or cuts him.

No QB could win with the Jets. It's just a horrible organization. Sam was too young to overcome two terrible HC's, two very bad GM's and a Woody. He has now had Shanahan and Kevin O'Connell. He is in the perfect situation for him.
