But most pro sports careers end that way, all he has to do is go back to Green Bay and sign a token contract to retire as a Packer and posterity (but not Bigmoe and CH) will soon forget his Jets dalliance.

Jets have tried to sugar-coat Rodgers' departure with a glowing testimonial from Woody that he scarcely deserved. New coach, new OC, new scheme, new QB, new era. He’s going to the Steelers and putting them in playoffs. I already told my Steelers fan buddy that I’m rooting for the Steelers when he does and bringing the Jet curse with me.

So Rodgers is going to go to a playoff team (Steelers) and put them in the playoffs. Having previously gone to a non-playoff team (Jets) and not put them in the playoffs. A difference-maker like this can surely name his own salary with any of the other 30 franchises.
They went to the playoffs last year so that would be the minimum expected.
