Definitely not all his fault, but they won 5 games. He threw multiple game ending picks. Is he a diva? Not sure, but he likes things to be about him. Always has. I like what Glenn is doing. Coach Rah Rah was a joke along with that fat Buddha of a GM. We need a new voice and Glenn won't succeed if he has to bow down to Rodgers. Rodgers is no longer worth the distraction and hassle. GB got lucky and had the loser Jets give away picks for a player they knew was finished. The Jets brought in all huis buddies and it was a complete disaster. He might still be one of the best Jet QB's ever, but we need to start fresh.
.......as he trousers the stack of Dead Presidents that nobody else in the league was daft enough to offer him. Now any of the other 31 franchises can trade for him with the Jets paying most of his salary. It will be interesting to see what the market is.

Just for a laugh I went to a Steelers forum to look at a thread titled 'Steelers favorites to sign Aaron Rodgers'. Comments included:
"Why are we always signing has-beens?".
"Rodgers put others' lives at risk by not having the Covid jab" (Some people don't understand how vaccines work).
"Let's re-sign Cliff Stoudt, perhaps he has something left".

As I understand it there will be a cap savings with the post June release, but, that money won't be available to use during free agency.

This team has lacked discipline and accountability since Parcels left.
The Rodgers experiment failed, because of or, in spite of. No one is saying he was the lone reason but part of the problem. Too many delay of game penalties, costly interceptions, and his sitting alone on the beach isolated from his teammates when as the leader he should have been trying to rally them.
I don't think he will be the only player let go. This regime will try to build the team in their vision Hopefully it leads to some success. Time will tell.

If Rodgers had led this team to 9 or 10 wins I would agree, but he was a large part of a 5 win season. We wasted two 2nd round picks for him and a 3rd for Adams. It didn't work out. Remember the game vs Buffalo and Rodgers was awful. Down 40-0, Tyrod came in and immediately led them to two drives. It looked like two different teams. Or the game vs the Cardinals. The game vs the Steelers where Rodgers jumped out to a good 15-6 start and then threw an awful pick just before the half that completely changed the game. They never scored another point. Game vs Sam Darnold and Rodgers missed a wide open Garrett Wilson and then threw a pick on final drive. Don't forget the terrible pick 6. Rodgers just wasn't the missing piece. Thats not all his fault. I blame this disaster on Joe Douglas.
